Brynne Kennedy is a Democrat and tech entrepreneur, who moved from Massachusetts to Roseville, CA in 2019. She is running to represent California’s fourth district. She wants to improve government efficiency, expand the ACA, and modernize infrastructure. After graduating from Yale, Kennedy worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers. She also worked in real estate private equity at Standard Chartered in Singapore. Kennedy founded MOVE Guides in 2010 while earning her MBA at London Business School. MOVE Guides was rebranded as Topia, a talent mobility software suite. Kennedy has led Topia as CEO since its inception. Kennedy founded Mobility4All to help alleviate the refugee crisis. Kennedy is focused on improving government, and advocates performance audits in every federal agency, an annual cost/benefit analysis of every segment of the national budget, elimination of tax loopholes, and increased transparency and better coordination. She supports expanding and improving the ACA and lowering drug prices. She believes the best investment we can make in our economy is in modernizing our infrastructure, including transportation and electrical grid. She wants to expand rural broadband throughout all of her district. She promises to work to ensure equal pay for equal work, to reauthorize and strengthen the Violence Against Women Act, and to protect access to cancer screenings and reproductive health services. Brynne is a former national gymnast for the USA and Division 1 collegiate gymnast for Yale.
